What is Botox used for?
Botox injections are used mostly for its ability to diminish the appearance of facial wrinkles. They are also used to treat neck spasms, excessive sweating, bladder issues and weak eye. Botox injections possibly prevent chronic migraines.
Botox injections use a toxin called onobotulinumtoxinA to temporarily prevent a muscle from moving. This toxin is produced by the microbe that causes botulism, a type of food poisoning.
